The turtlenecks are not only versatile, but also the trend of the moment. From black to nude, to the most varied colors: everyone wants to wear a turtleneck sweater! They are perfect for this transition period, where it is not too hot nor too cold. In addition, they are super cool in office looks, as they make any look comfortable but chic! The turtleneck is fine under the salopette but also combined with a skirt with a pattern blazer or overcoat, use these sweaters as a blank (or colored!) canvas to paint on! Today I would like to talk to you about a simple look that is perfect for both going out and the office, in the shades of wine and burgundy.
How to wear a turtleneck (with a corduroy skirt)
I paired the powdery-pink turtleneck shirt with a slightly flared corduroy skirt. Waist-high, you can find my now inseparable belt, and on my head now inseparable bakerboy hat (which I also wore HERE and I’ll show you in other versions, still super British!). I finished the whole look with a slightly egg-shaped, slightly oversize and vintage-style coat – but I got it from Primark, so super cheap – in the same tones of the look but with a pied-de-poule print. The studded bag helps – with the over-the-knee-boots – to give that more rock touch to the whole look. In addition, the boots cover the legs making the skirt also suitable to be worn at work.
